Abuse in Facilities Often not prosecuted

The Lexington Herald-Leader has an interesting story today about the follow-up prosecutions to serious violations issued to nursing homes in Kentucky. The father of former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan died this weekend after a fight with his son. Elder Abuse and Child Porn Charges in MI

Genesee County Michigan authorities arrested Rickie Glenn Woodring, 50, on  20 felony counts. The charges included 14 child pornography charges. Police arrested Woodring for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from his mother. While searching Woodring’s home police say they found explicit images of young girls.
